Prepare Your Shed
- Watch closely for the next shed and remove it from the enclosure as soon as possible.
- Flatten and tear off any dirty or degraded pieces. Shed that has been in extended contact with water or urates should be discarded.
- Place the shed in a secure location and allow it to dry for 1–2 days.
Send In Your Shed
- Tear off one quarter-sized piece of shed per animal, or as many pieces as you can get together (we use a piece about the size of a pinhead for each test).
- Please do not include the entire shed. This is just a waste of your postage.
- Seal each shed inside a separate ziplock bag or a small (credit card-sized) paper envelope.
- Label the ziplock bag with your:
- Receipt/Order #
- Reptile ID #
- Tests ordered on that animal
- Place your receipt and ziplock bag(s) inside an envelope.
- Label the envelope with your mailing info and send to:
